  1. Registration:- Open the Chegg India Website and Type type Phone number in the Column. You will then redirected to General Information Page. Type your Name, Email, Password, and Continue the process. Then a confirmation message will be sent to your Email. Click on that link and you will. be redirected to your Registration Page.

  1. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions:- Chegg India wants to do their work in a very fairway. This is the reason, they provide you will Terms and Conditions. Read them and Accept them and Continue the process.
  2. Registration:- Registration Includes, your General details and subject you want to apply as an expert. Be sure before applying to a Subject as Chegg is very strict in Changing or Adding any subject to your dashboard.
  3. Subject Test:- This Includes a total of 12 questions out of which you have to score at least 60% in order to pass it. One advantage of this test is that there is no time limit. So if you were not sure about some questions, then you can take help from the Internet.
  4. Guidelines Test:- According to my, it is the most crucial and Important Test as a Chegg Expert as your Journey at Chegg is totally dependent on How you were Following the Guidelines. So, Download the Guidelines pdf. Read it carefully for 5–10 minutes. Put your Main Focus on the “Honor Code” Section. Once you have read and Understand the test, Go through the Guideline test. It contains a total of 20 Questions out of which 70–80% should be correct.

  1. Documents Verification:- Keep a Scanned Picture of your Aadhar Card(as Address Proof), Your College ID or Marksheet as Education proof before starting the registration. Try to resize both the Picture up to 2MB. Upload it when required.
  2. Bank Verification and PAN Card:- This is also one of the crucial steps in registration. If you Don't have PAN card, then Apply it as soon as you can as it has now become a Mandatory Process. Keep a scanned photo of the PAN card up to 2MB. Upload it. The Income will be transferred to your bank account directly Through NEFT. You have to provide the Account Holder Name, Bank Account Number, IFSC Code in order to complete the step. After this step, you will receive Rs 1 from Chegg India. Consider it as confirmation for your Bank Details.
  3. Proof Of Address:- in the place of Proof Address we have three options in which we can upload anyone. Voter Id Card, Driving Licence, Or Aadhar Card. But the Aadhar card here we upload is must be a masked Aadhar card otherwise submission may be rejected. 
  4. Mobile Number and E-mail Verification:- This is the last step of your registration. You will receive an OTP at your Email and Phone number. Type it and Complete your Registration.


 After completion of all the steps, you will get a confirmation Email from Chegg. You will receive a confirmation Email regarding your Onboarding Details and Grant of Answering privilege.


Keep Visiting your Email for regular updates as Almost 90% of communication will be done through Email. Only 10% will be done through Whatsapp Group and SMS. Communication Includes your payment details, Badge Allocation, COMIS Review, Any Comments from Students, etc.
